I was shepherded through God’s kingdom by this connection to the kingdom that forced me to unlearn everything I had known about the radical love that comes from Jesus. Destroying my home team wasn’t meant to ruin relationships, it was a call from God to redefine them.
Paying attention to the cracks and crevices of our lives brings us closer to God.

Once I had this spiritual practice, I began to wake up. I woke up to what God was doing in my life. I woke up to what God was saying about my life. I woke up to who God is. I woke up to who I am becoming in him.
In our conversation, she exposed something so many of us face: distraction during prayer. She talked about how fervently she wanted to pray, but how often she found herself thinking of other things. She wondered aloud if her prayers were ineffective.
The Kingdom of God is close enough for you to reach out and touch it, although, we must learn how to feel it.
Our God is so great and gracious. There is so much we have yet to learn from him and about him, and I love learning.
